A week-long exploration of eco printmaking, book arts, and the living language of the natural world
Plants have always been our teachers in the healing arts. In this workshop, we explore another way they speak to us—through line, pigment, paper, and printmaking. Because art and healing are simply two languages for the same relationship.
In this multi-day immersive workshop we will create a “living herbarium” that honors our relationships with local plants through book arts, eco printing, and natural pigment making. We will learn about ethical gathering and slow, process-based techniques, participants will explore how plants reveal themselves in color, texture, and imprint. Each student will complete a handmade herbarium that becomes both record and ritual—a collaboration with the land.
